Data and Protection
Under no circumstances will we pass on any information about you or your company to a third party. The information collected from you at the time you place an order will be stored in our secure database and is used only to carry out your instructions and action your payment.
Your online payment transaction will be handled by Paypal, an internationally recognised secure payment system. We do not store or have any access to your credit card number.
Service Supply
We undertake to supply you with the services described in our webpages or on our brochures within agreed time frames.
We will NOT print, record or publish anything which we consider to be libellous or which we consider might defame third party individuals, companies, organisations or institutions.
Please note that when you approve the final script for your TV news program, the editor's decision is final and no change will be made to the TV news program we send to you unless you undertake to pay for a new edit. If you have a complaint, we are happy to discuss it with you and resolve it sensibly and fairly.
We undertake to record TV News programs for you and deliver this program to you via the Internet. We also undertake to give you instructions on how best to use available technology to post this TV News Program on your website, however it is your own responsibility to ensure that you post this TV News Program on your website, WE WILL NOT do it for you.
WE WILL NOT export this TV News program to your iPOD or other mobile or video display device (like a TV for instance) but WE WILL give you advice on how to do so. If you have a requirement for a service from us within a very short time frame, it would be best to engage with us as soon as possible. Naturally, special projects will have special pricing and this will be agreed with you in advance.
Our Packages
If you buy a package of TV NEWs programs from Lifeonmedia it is your responsibility to ensure that you use the entire package and provide us with the necessary material to allow us to keep our side of the bargain. We undertake to keep you informed of the number of programs left in your package but we will not refund a fee for an unused or partially-used package.
It is your responsibility to provide press releases/text, still and video images in order for Lifeonmedia to deliver such a service to you. In the case of press releases/text and still digital images, these can be uploaded via our website.
We require that video be supplied to us on DVD and not be more than five minutes' duration and sent to us by courier and the tracking information be supplied via our website.
Contact
We will only contact you in connection with your instructions and keep you well informed if we have any difficulties in this regard. We will not email you without your permission.
Guarantee. If you are not happy with the service we provide please contact us immediately. We don't want unhappy customers and guarantee that we will not use the anonymity of the web to escape from our responsibilities.
If a customer is unhappy we are willing to engage with that customer by telephone or personal visit, whichever is required. If the customer is so unhappy that he or she requires a refund, then a refund will be provided by credit card or cheque, whichever method is preferable to the customer.
Payment
Normally our customers will pay us through the internationally recognised Paypal system. This is a secure electronic payment system used on thousands of websites worldwide. If you wish to pay by cheque we will wait until your cheque has cleared before we provide our service.
VAT
Our production studio is located in Galway, Ireland. Value Added Tax at the rate of 21% will be payable on our services.
Security
Lifeonmedia is responsible for the security of its own website. You are responsible for the security of your website.
Complaints
If you have a complaint, call us or email us and we will action it promptly. That means within 24 hours.
Law and Jurisdiction
Any contract between you the customer and Lifeonmedia will be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Ireland and you agree that such contract will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
Final Note
We are delivering our service through the web. Although a powerful medium, it is also imperfect and there may be issues like download speed delays and hosting problems. We will work with you to fix these problems quickly.
